Reseach & Practice
for Inclusive Societies
REPRIS is a human rights consultancy practice, with expertise in collaborative approaches to overcoming legacies of injustice.
It believes in a world made of inclusive societies that celebrate and elevate diversity; where we see difference as a strength. Together—with our experiences, ways-of-seeing, traumas, fractures, and efforts to be better—we make a stronger, more whole community.
REPRIS collaborates with governments and non-governmental organisations to create a world where communities marginalised and affected by political violence are central to creating a fair and equal environment; and where they have the power to address injustice. Our goal is for everyone to participate in creating a better, more equal future for us all.

Why choose REPRIS?
REPRIS supports organisations and actors seeking to address injustice and promote social and cultural transformation.
If you are an organisation working with justice initiatives and social and cultural change, or with people affected by genocide and its legacy, conflict-related violence, authoritarianism, and historic marginalisation, REPRIS
has the expertise across both research and practice to help you create a more stable, more grounded set of steps towards meaningful change.
REPRIS has the communication, lateral thinking, and problem-solving ability to be able to make as sure as possible that we don’t crash on the rocks of the natural crises that come up along the way.
REPRIS' Approach
Typically, the REPRIS approach centres on:
Deep listening – using culturally-sensitive consultation, discussion, and dialogue to baseline a deep 360° understanding of what is needed and where things are broken.
Understanding best practice – really knowing what has worked well and not so well across the world. This helps us reflect and create stronger structures or processes.
Knowing (or conducting) the research – being able to apply a higher-level expertise allows us to see more solutions to complex problems.
Creating change together, step by step – collaboration, open communication, re-assessment and direction adjustments, and creating spaces for acceptance of vulnerability and creative thinking for all stakeholders.
These methods and skillsets are what set REPRIS apart.

As a researcher, I see how research communities understand best practice and can learn from past experiences, but are often too removed from the everyday pace and challenge of working in the field. We are great at listening but we can’t always move fast to support communities seeking change.
As a practitioner, I have also seen how the world of practice can be guilty of getting stuck in funding cycles and reporting to donors; moving too fast to really hear, understand, and learn from what is being done well and less well in our own work and around the world. Sometimes we react with fear or preconception and don’t hear what communities or stakeholders or change-agents need. I founded REPRIS to bridge this gap.
